When appointing an Independent Director, a formal letter of appointment is given to them, explaining the role, function, duties and responsibilities expected of them as a Director of the Company. This is to ensure the Independent Director is aware of and compliant with requirements under the Companies Act, 2013, Listing Regulations and other relevant regulations and affirmations. Further the Company has put in place a system to familiarize the Independent Directors about the Company, its products, business and the on-going events relating to the Company.
