Corporate Social Responsibility

In Jayaswal Neco Industry Limited, we continually strive towards the social inclusion of the disadvantaged sections of society, including the poor and the disabled. Our CSR policy aims to develop a corporate process for the sustainable growth of society. We seek to uplift our communities and work towards their economic and socio-cultural growth.

We put our earnest efforts to build a self-sustainable habitat around the units and provide care and facilities to children as in their hands lie our country’s future. We aim to serve society in the truest sense.


Our CSR Activities

We strive to bring a change in the quality of education for youth in the families through teachers aid, student scholarships, and providing books and allied study materials.

We have established an additional vocational skills centre for enhancing the employability opportunities for the local youth. We have helped to train around 300 unemployed youth for employment as Security Guard, Fitter, Welder, and Electrician with a success rate of 84% post-training employment. Despite the COVID pandemic this year, we have trained about 500 engineering students through digital platforms.

We have taken up the construction of Water Tanks, Borewell, Tube Well, Water Reserves, etc. to ensure the villagers get portable drinking water round the clock to tackle the water scarcity crisis in summer.

We organize regular health check-ups and blood donation camps, medical counselling sessions, and free distribution of medicines for the community. The company also runs a Charitable Dispensary at Dhaneli Village to provide basic health care services for all.

We hosted a communication rally for two months in Raipur City and villages around for creating awareness of the pandemic, in collaboration with the State Government and Rotary Club.

We have organized a drive to plant and distribute saplings in the villages. We focus on environmental sustainability, ecological balance, and the protection of flora and fauna. We also take initiatives for the development of parks and gardens, animal welfare, agro-forestry, and conservation of natural resources to maintain the quality of soil, air, and water.

Our company supports self-help groups through cottage-based trading. We have launched an initiative by the local MLA, Mrs. Anita Sharma on International Women’s Day 2021 to distribute sanitary pads for free to 346 girl students across 12 schools.

We have established a Mini Gymnasium to provide training support and sports kits to the village youth to boost and channelize their energy towards constructive work.

We facilitate the staging of traditional folk arts in socio-cultural events of our company to encourage budding artists to showcase their talent and to create awareness of our rich, traditional art and culture of the State to our employees and their family members.

Our company operated a community kitchen in the Raipur - Bilaspur National highway to provide food facilities to approximately 20,000 migrant laborers in the wake of the first phase of the COVID 19 pandemic.
